The Relevant Finance team has a passion to give back. That passion was birthed out of Camillia Dechent’s personal experience with Mercy Multiplied, which is a ministry that changed her life by providing her the opportunity to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power in a time when she needed it most. Mercy’s vision was launched in 1983 after Founder and President, Nancy Alcorn, spent eight years working for the government. Realizing that true transformation would never come as the result of any government system, Nancy started the first residential home in West Monroe, Louisiana. Mercy’s FREE residential program helps young women ages 13-32 break free from life-controlling issues and situations, including anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, addictions, unplanned pregnancy, and sex trafficking. Mercy Multiplied remains ever faithful to its three guiding principles: (1) provide our residential and outpatient services free of charge, (2) tithe 10%, and (3) never accept money with strings attached or that which would prevent our ability to share Jesus Christ.
The Relevant Finance team’s vision is to grow their company to a level that will not only help Mercy Multiplied achieve their vision but to one day, build a program right here in the Washington, DC area, where the need is most prevalent! That’s what puts the “relevant” in Relevant Finance!
